What You'll Do

• Own product end-to-end for our AI-native interactive content / UGC game platform, across the consumer experience and the AI creation tools.
• Define the roadmap and north-star metrics with the founders; build the data and growth loop (instrumentation, funnels, retention, A/B).
• Design the two-sided ecosystem: content supply-demand matching, creator incentives and revenue share, community and remix loops.
• Translate frontier AI capabilities (generation, agents, world models) into experiences users can feel.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in consumer products spanning at least two of: games, UGC platforms, content communities, creator tools; real 0-to-1 experience.
• Hands-on growth experience with first-hand judgment on retention, monetization, and virality.
• AI-native daily workflow; deep gamer or heavy consumer of short drama / interactive fiction.
• Working-level English; startup pace and ownership.

Nice to Have: Roblox/UEFN-type ecosystem experience, short-drama globalization, AI companion products, US/SEA growth.

What You'll Do

• Build our content supply engine from zero: in-house PGC incubation, seed creator acquisition, then a self-sustaining UGC ecosystem.
• Recruit, segment, and grow seed creators; design and validate incentive structures (guarantees, rev-share, contests, traffic boosts).
• Close the loop between creators and our AI creation tools: templates, learning curve vs. creative freedom.
• Set content quality bars, run co-creation programs, and build supply-side analytics (creator funnel, supply-demand match, retention).

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years in UGC game / creator ecosystems: Roblox, Fortnite UEFN, Minecraft, Eggy Party, PUBG Mobile (Oasis) creator programs, TikTok Gaming, or similar.
• First-hand cold-start experience — you can articulate what YOU made happen, not just what you witnessed.
• Deep understanding of creator motivation and economics; strong content taste; data-driven.
• Working-level English preferred (global creator community).

Nice to Have: overseas creator networks (Discord/MCN/KOC), being a creator yourself (maps/mods/interactive fiction with shipped work), creator economy design.

• Build our consumer product (web/mobile H5) and AI creation tools full-stack; own features end-to-end from prototype to production.
• Integrate and orchestrate AI pipelines: LLMs, image/video generation, agent workflows.
• Build growth infrastructure: instrumentation, A/B testing, funnels.
• Design scalable content/game data structures: story nodes, state variables, branching logic, UGC storage and distribution.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years full-stack: strong React/TypeScript plus solid Python (FastAPI/Django) or Node; PostgreSQL design and optimization.
• Proven ability to ship alone from zero — a launched product or side project is the best signal.
• Experience with LLM APIs (Claude/GPT) or AI applications; AI-native development workflow (Cursor/Claude Code) preferred.
• Background at game companies + consumer internet is ideal: miHoYo, Hypergryph, Tencent, NetEase, Lilith, ByteDance games, CapCut, PDD/Temu growth teams, or similar.

About the Role

We're building the next generation of AI-powered interactive storytelling experiences, blending cinematic narratives with player-driven choices. We're looking for a Senior Narrative Designer who is passionate about crafting emotionally engaging stories, designing meaningful interactive experiences, and exploring how AI can transform the future of storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Own the narrative vision for interactive storytelling experiences from concept development through final implementation, including worldbuilding, character development, dialogue, and branching narrative design.
• Design meaningful player choices, branching story paths, and multiple endings that balance narrative depth with player engagement and product goals.
• Use AI tools, including LLMs, image generation, video, voice, and other generative technologies, to accelerate content creation, iteration, and creative exploration.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Art, and Design to bring narrative concepts from prototype to launch.
• Refine story content using player feedback, analytics, and live product performance.
• Mentor writers and narrative designers, provide actionable creative feedback, and maintain a high storytelling quality bar across the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in game narrative design, game writing, scriptwriting, or a related creative writing role.

Vizzy Labs builds Taplot (taplot.ai), where anyone can make and play AI interactive films and games. We're looking for a UI designer with great taste to make Taplot look and feel beautiful.

What you'll do

• Design screens for Taplot's creator studio and player (web + mobile), from first sketch to polished high-fidelity UI.
• Own the visual details: layout, typography, color, iconography and motion.
• Work directly with the founder and engineers. Your designs ship in days, not quarters.

What we look for

• A portfolio that shows strong visual taste and polished UI. This matters more than anything else.
• Figma fluency.
• Comfort using AI tools in your own design work.

We’re looking for a Senior Game Agent Engineer to build the core engine behind AI-native interactive storytelling: transforming a creator’s adaptation workflow from days into under an hour—while producing content that is genuinely ready to ship, not just AI-generated drafts that require a full rewrite.

What you’ll build

• Multi-stage narrative agent pipelines

Design and implement agent workflows spanning IP decomposition, worldbuilding, character design, story structure, branching logic, and final scripts—with human confirmation gates throughout so creators stay in control.

• Structured interactive narrative generation

Enable LLMs to reliably generate production-ready branching narrative schemas: nodes, choices, game states, variables, conditions, and converging storylines—not just prose.

• Narrative quality evaluation systems

Build measurable evaluation frameworks for plot logic, character consistency, meaningful player choice, pacing, emotional payoff, and monetization opportunities.

• Context engineering for long-form stories

Solve how narrative bibles, prior events, character states, and unresolved clues are preserved across long, multi-turn generation workflows.

• Codifying creative intuition

Work closely with game designers and writers to translate tacit narrative expertise—pacing, hooks, catharsis, tension, payoff, and restraint—into agent-executable processes and quality criteria.

• End-to-end product delivery

Own the path from prompts and pipelines to creator-facing tools. You can move across backend, frontend, and product surfaces when needed.

You may be a great fit if you have

• Strong hands-on experience building LLM applications, including agent orchestration, tool/function calling, structured outputs, stateful multi-turn workflows, and eval systems.

• A real understanding of game design, especially gameplay loops, narrative pacing, branching design, progression, or monetization.

• Full-stack ability and a bias toward shipping usable creator tools—not just prototypes.

• High standards for AI-generated content. You can tell the difference between “technically plausible” and “actually good,” and know how to turn that gap into engineering metrics.

You’ll find compelling moments, edit short-form videos, write captions, and publish content. We provide the strategy, raw footage, and posting guidelines.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is based in the US and available to start immediately.
• Has experience editing short-form content and creating content for or managing faceless accounts.
• Understands hooks, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling and engage.

Vizzy Labs (vizzylabs.ai, venture-backed) builds Taplot (taplot.ai), an interactive short-series platform. The episodes are AI-generated and the player's choices drive the story. Creators use our AI agent to turn a story into a playable series: no camera, no actors, no game engine.

What you'll do

• Pitch and write interactive stories in the Episode / Choices / Chapters tradition: a strong hook, a clear trope, choices that change how the player feels, and a cliffhanger that earns the next episode.
• Use our AI agent to make each story playable end to end: characters, scenes, dialogue, branches and endings. You direct; the agent generates the video.
• Play your own build like a player, find the confusing beats and the dead choices, and fix them before you hand it in.
• Give clear notes on other stories: what you didn't understand, what's broken, what works. Your notes also teach our AI what a good story feels like.

What we're looking for

• You have finished at least one branching story that real readers played: an Episode or Dorian story, a ChoiceScript or Twine game, a visual novel, an otome route, or interactive fan fiction. Finished matters more than follower count.
• You know why the romance, revenge, forbidden-love and power-fantasy tropes work, and you can write a story that is a little over the top and still makes people play on.
• You like trying new tools. You have used ChatGPT, Claude or AI image / video tools in your own work, or you are eager to.
• You care about results. We pay for a finished story that meets the bar, not for hours.

Nice to have

• Writing credits at Episode, Pixelberry (Choices), Crazy Maple (Chapters), Dorian, Pocket Gems, or a short-drama app such as ReelShort or DramaBox.
• A small, active readership on Wattpad, AO3, itch.io or Instagram.
• Game design, screenwriting or short-video editing experience.

• Send us one or two stories you have finished (links are fine).
• Trial: we give you your own workspace and a generation budget, and you make one short episode with our agent.
• If the trial lands, we commission full stories at a fixed fee per story, paid once the story is accepted.

Vizzy Labs builds Taplot (taplot.ai), where anyone can make and play AI interactive films and games. AI video and AI coding have cut the cost of making an interactive series dramatically; now we need people who make them genuinely fun. We put story and casual games together. The story pulls players in; quick casual games make it fun to play and replay. At key story beats, a round of match, merge, puzzle, reflex or tycoon play decides what happens next. You'll design those games and the systems around them, and build them yourself.

What you'll do

• Design casual mini-games that live inside a story: learnable in seconds, 30 seconds to 3 minutes a round, and the result changes the plot.
• Design the systems that bring players back: levels and difficulty curves, rewards and collections, energy or tries, chapter unlocks and well-placed paywalls.
• Turn mini-games into templates that Taplot's AI creation agent and UGC creators can drop into their own series and reskin for any genre.
• Prototype it yourself with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) on web, Cocos, Unity or Godot, and ship playable demos in days, not months.
• Iterate on real player data: first-time success, completion, replays, drop-off points and conversion.

What we look for

• You led gameplay design on at least one shipped casual or mini game and can explain the decisions you made.
• You build your own games: indie releases, web or H5 games, TikTok or WeChat mini games, or game jam entries.
• You understand what makes casual games sticky: core loop, game feel, feedback, pacing, and ad or IAP monetization.
• You use AI tools in your daily work.

Biggest plus: you've made story + casual games. Think narrative match-3 or merge games (Gardenscapes, Homescapes, Merge Mansion), story-driven mini games, or interactive stories, otome games or visual novels with mini-game moments.

Also nice to have

• Mini games inside UGC editors (Roblox, UEFN).

About Vizzy Labs

Vizzy Labs is a VC-backed San Francisco studio founded by Stanford and Google alumni, building the future of interactive drama: short-form stories where the viewer decides what happens next. Minutes long, watched on a phone, where the visual hook has to land in the first three seconds.

AI tooling made it cheap to generate a lot of footage. It did not make it easy to generate footage that looks authored. Closing that gap is this job.

About the Role

You set the look of a series through concept art and keyframes, then hold the quality bar as that look moves through AI video generation. You are the taste layer — the person who can say exactly why a shot feels flat (staging, lens, value structure, cut rhythm) and then fix it, by repainting a frame, reshaping the approach, or directing the generation differently.

Senior, hands-on craft role. You'll direct, and you'll also make. Not a prompt-writing role.

What You'll Do

• Develop environment and mood concept art that establishes each series' world, palette, and lighting language
• Produce keyframes and shot mood frames that give the production team an unambiguous visual target
• Partner closely with a narrative designer — story beats and visual language get built together, not handed off
• Review AI-generated video from internal and external teams; give precise notes on composition, blocking, lighting continuity, performance, and edit rhythm
• Get hands-on in generation and iteration, and hand-correct output where generative tools fall short
• Write down what "good" means: aesthetic standards, cinematic language guidelines, reference libraries
• Coach our internal AI content creators so quality compounds across projects

Qualifications

• Multiple years of professional experience in film/TV, game or animation cinematics, advertising, or an adjacent creative industry — shipped work, real deadlines, real stakeholders
• Real command of visual and audiovisual language: composition, staging, color and value, lighting, lens behavior, continuity, and how a cut carries emotion
• Strong traditional art fundamentals — you can draw and paint, and can hand-correct a generated image instead of rerolling and hoping
• Working fluency with generative image and video tools. We're tool-agnostic; we judge output, not software
• Range across visual styles, plus the judgment to know which style serves which story
• Experience art-directing or mentoring other artists — a meaningful part of this role is raising the team's bar, not only your own output
• Clear written communication and feedback other artists can act on
• Able to work autonomously across time zones with async review cycles

Preferred

Vertical or short-form experience; custom pipeline work (node-based workflows, character consistency, fine-tuning); cinematography, editing, or previs background; Chinese-language ability (not required).

Compensation and Terms

We structure this role around three commitments:

• Guaranteed base pay — $50–$100/hour. Set by experience and demonstrated ability, and paid for every hour you work regardless of how a title performs. Your rate moves up as your work proves out. This is your floor, not your ceiling.
• Upside on top of base — revenue share and breakout bonus. You receive a share of revenue on the titles you shape, plus an additional performance bonus when a title becomes a hit. This is added to your hourly pay, never in place of it.
• You keep your copyright. Narrative designers and artists retain copyright in the work they create — we take the license we need to produce and distribute it, and your creative output remains yours. This is unusual in this industry, and it's deliberate: we think the people who make the work should own it.

Independent contractor agreement; hourly billing against agreed scope, invoiced on a set cycle.
